Guest guest
I got my sister's fideo recipe for us. It's really good. Hope I can read her writing good enough to post this OK You could find the fideo in the isle that sells Mexican food at the market. Fideo 2 tbls. oil 1 (8 ounces) package of fideo pasta or thin spaghetti broken up 1/2 tsp. cumin 1/2 onion chopped 1 garlic clove chopped 1 celery stick chopped 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. chili powder 1 (8 ounces) can of tomato sauce Heat oil in pan and fry up the pasta until it's brown with the onion, garlic and celery. Pour 1/2 can of tomato sauce and 1 cup water, and add cumin, oregano and chili powder and stir. Bring to a boil and cook on low until liquid is evaporated. Stir in other 1/2 can tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water. Cover and cook over medium fire for 8 minutes, until the fideo is tender and the sauce is thickened up. Autos. Looking for a sweet ride? Guest guest
Made this a few nights ago and it was really good! Added Morningstar Farms chicken style strips, some no-chicken broth instead of water, and cilantro, and it was just like the kind we used to eat BV!! Thanks for the recipe again Paul!
