Bron being a vegetarian

I'm very guilty of loving animals but refusing to beome vegetarian.

Donna was very patient with me and I really gave her over 20 years of

a hard time as I ate her delicious cooked creations and yet made rude

comments.

I see myself as a different person now after converting for the last

4 years and feel ashamed inside that I was that stubborn. My BP is

almost in control without meds, my cholesterol is within normal range.

I never thought I could find enough time to make myself meals and yet

making vegetarian meals takes little effort and there are so many

recipes to select from.

Maybe the people in that group have decided to become vegetarians for

medical reasons and the animals have nothing to do with it. They may

not have reached that place yet in their lives.

Well, Sissy, the impression I distinctly got was that the owner of the group

was the sole person deciding nobody was going to talk about the fate of the

animals.

And as to the people at our church, not only did they make rude comments to

us " aside " , they barged in on conversations we had with others and made very

snide remarks. You could tell that we threatened them in some way. But it

was tough for us because of the increasingly hostile remarks and comments.

So this has been a major victory at both ends of the spectrum. That's what I

was saying.

No offense, Bron, but isn't that the group owner's prerogative? This

group is particularly open and chatty because the owner likes it that

way, but each group has its own character and " ambience " , and each has

different rules for what is on or off topic.

But I am glad to hear about the dude reading Mad Cowboy!! :-) You

are doing a great job influencing people.
