Guest guest
What started this was a few years back someone noticed that cranberry juice contained this crushed bug used to color it. God only knows why they would go to all the trouble when who really cares what color it is, but it is typical of the stuff added to prepared food to make it taste fresh. Same with packaging. Remember the metal staples on tea bags? And some things are so hyped with unnecessary wrappings and containers that cannot be recycled. I write praises to the companies that do better and also to those who don't even try. I flat tell them I will not buy their product and will tell friends and family not to buy until they change to a Earth friendy product or package. Same goes for offensive commercials on TV. It really works, in no time the products , etc. change. I also call managers of stores to tell them how much I appreciate their organic produce, etc. Gotta give the praises along with the complaints. Read labels and don't settle for anything less than the best buy for your money. Don't forget to thank your spouse, parent, neighbor, etc. for caring enough to prepare healthy meals just for you. And most important thank God for giving us the most wonderful assortment of foods we could imagine. Smiles and hugs Deanna

Guest guest
Yes, I was puzzling over this too, Erin... " remember them? " The Irish Breakfast decaf upon which I am *fixin'* to sip <g> still has the little staple. As do all my teas except the Celestial Seasonings...and the Stash, too, come to think of it. Good suggestions, though, Deanna. Thanks, I appreciate them and you. :>) Bron On 2/6/06, cronzen <truepatriot wrote: > > , " genny_y2k " <genny_y2k > wrote: > > > > Remember the metal staples on tea bags? > > Remember them?
