Guest guest
Thanks Donna and Deanna. Not that long ago there was some discussion in this group about the little staple in tea bags, do y'all remember? I don't want to seem like a dummy, but what is wrong with the staple? I have heard that some of the other ways tea bags are put together are toxic. Thanks, Susan
Guest guest
Susan, I learn something new in this group almost every day. Don't think for a minute that learning is not an on-going experience for all of us. Experimenting with new ideas and having an open mind are wonderful shared qualites of a Vegetarian/Vegan. Being retired,I have more time to research and ask questions. I also call or write , compliment/complain to companies that are making safer products.Believe me they listen to consumers. I often get responses and sometimes valuable coupons or product samples in return. Smiles and hugs coming your way. Guest guest
I personally don't like the staple since I found one in the bottom of the tea cup once and thought that wouldn't be a good thing to swallow, but I don't know anything else about the staple, if it's unhealthy, etc.. Hopefully one of the other members will have the answer. You will never be a dummy, ask us anything we are here to help. I learn something new in here daily and I've been a cooking vegetarian for well over 25 years now.
