St Patty's recipes? Hi Liz

This is what I usually serve:

I boil sliced carrots, cabbage chunks, potatoes cubes,coarsely chopped

onions and a few cloves of garlic together with a tablespoon of mixed

herbs. A few minutes before everything is tender I add a few Tofurky

sausages cut into 3rds.

Maybe this will give you a good idea for a dish,

This sounds delicious. I didn't think about this kind of dish. It reminds me

of a dish my grandmother used to make but with meat. She always made this dish

she called boiled dinner.It is with the same ingredients but with ham instead of

fake sausage. I totally forgot all about it til now.(she's been gone for over

25 years) I'll definitely try it.

my grandmother used to make this...just the potatoes and vegetables

though.....she also added a spoonful of dill seed, and sometimes a little bit of

anise seed, too.

I make almost the same dish but I add a chopped leek and a parsnip

and some celery seeds.
