Yesterday while I was in traffic school (yes, I know

I've been bad and speeding, this time I got caught 6

miles over the speed limit LOL) He gave us a 2 hr.

lunch break so I headed to the Asian market and bought

a lot of greens. If you love chives you have to pick

up some " nira " you can see a picture on this site.

Wonderful! They are like a flat wide chive and the

flavor is between onion and mild garlic. You can chop

raw and top your rice with them, add to salads or stir

fries etc.

I found them 3 bunches for 99 cents.

I also cooked up lotus root and will post a picture in

the photo file later on. I bought Korean mustard

greens, they have a green stem and a mixed colored

leaf that is deep green and blackish color. I'll try

cook those later and let you know.
