Guest guest Posted March 6, 2006 Report Share Posted March 6, 2006 -Paul and Lily, I have to give Carl's Jr. a tiny bit of credit for at least having *acceptable commercials*. I wrote them and complained about their previous sexually explicit commercials. Obviously others did the same as I have noticed some improvement. They were sending messages to children that were disrectful to humans and animals. Sometimes we think our small voice does not matter but it does. One had a female in a bikini washing a car, one with people eating a burger that the insides were running down their chin and the worst was the commercial where they stated that a chicken had no value other than to be made into a sandwhich. I thought it sent a terrible message to children and I wrote and told them so. I guess many other people did too as the commercial was cut a few days later. Whether it's, as ya'll said, making a chicken look like it's good for nothing better than a sandwich or throwing Paris Hilton at you in a swimsuit on a car, it's just not worth watching.
