Guest guest
You will not believe this garden story. I swear to you it is the truth. A few yrs. ago I planted a huge herb and vegetable garden. I forgot to tell my neighbor that I was an organic gardener. One morning I woke to find that out of the kindness of his heart he had sprayed the weeds in my garden. I awoke to find brown dying weeds surrounding and inside my garden. The odor of herbicide was everywhere. That night after dark I went out into the garden and removed every thing that I had planted, throwing everything into the trash. Sobbing my heart out as I worked. Most of the plants were seedlings that I had started or organic plants. Such a waste. He never asked why my garden was empty and I never said. Guest guest
Ooohh how come you didn't tell him? He might not be aware of the pesticides and the dangers. Maybe you could of turned him into an organic gardener. Yes, that is sad. Donna --- genny_y2k <genny_y2k wrote: > You will not believe this garden story. Guest guest
How sad. :-( You should have said, though, being nice about it.
Guest guest
The local paper has a gardening column every week. The fellow who writes is used to be Mr. Chemical but got turned onto natural gardening by a fellow who grows World Record veggies here in Alaska. Now the columnist is Mr. Natural. He now believes that the biology of the soil (micro and macroroganisms) are much more important than the inorganic compounds called fertilizer. GB Re: Garden Story Ooohh how come you didn't tell him?
