hi amy,

welcome to the group.

i worked in health food stores for several years. one

of my regular customers was a man who defied

conventional medicine and cured himself of malignant

melanoma using diet, vitamins and supplements. his

story was so amazing and inspirational. he had gone

to the gerson institute (http://www.gerson.org). here

is a quick overview of their therapy

(http://www.gerson.org/g_therapy/default.asp). it's

interesting that juicing, a vegetarian diet and tons

of organic fruits and vegetables is the basis of their

therapy.

i'm not a doctor and i'm in not advocating the gerson

institute (the complete therapy should not be done

without supervision), but thier site may give you some

information about how to make your body healthier

through diet. i believe it can be done. :)

Another well-known anti-cancer vegetarian diet is macrobiotics.
