Guest guest
Has anyone here tried making their own tempeh? I just received my powdered starter from www.gemcultures.com and there are a couple things that seem tricky to me. First of all, you have to dehull the soybeans. Ugh. I wonder if they can be bought already hulled? Also, you need to incubate it at something like 85F. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to maintain that temp for 12-24 hours yet. -Erin
