Guest guest
This sounds lovely. Do you think it would work with soaked dried peaches? Guest guest
Sure it would. Add some water and it would be good to go. When I hike, I dry fruits to crispy, blend them to a powder, then reconstitute with water (to paste) for a sauce,or mix into my oatmeal etc... I don't see why it wouldn't work here. The cornstarch would serve to thicken... I would consider using a bit less sugar though, and a few more peaches, as the volume will be less (the dried don't reconstitute to quite the same size as fresh) and the sugars more concentrated. It would probably be better to break up the fruit a bit before reconstituting, as they will be more resistant to breaking down, and it won't be exactly like " applesauce " , but it will still be quite tasty I can guarantee you! , " christie_0131 " <christie0131 wrote: > > This sounds lovely.
