Guest guest Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Going by the chart Donna gave me the link for last night it is 150g or a bit more than 5oz. It is complicated because you are measuring by volume whereas we measure by weight, so a cup of cashews weighs more than a cup of celery and a cup of grated carrot weighs a lot less than a cup of chopped carrot. I keep swithering as to whether I should just buy some US measuring cups for these recipes, but I am already struggling to make sense of grams and litres when a lot of my recipes are still in ounces and pints.
