Congrats on the quitting smoking! Its hard to do, I know, having done it

myself.

Polenta is very easy and quite versatile, glad you are getting some good

ideas! AmyF

Wanted everyone to know it's been days now and I haven't smoked. The first 3

days I did the gum wrapped in Big Red gum and then it's been cold turkey.

I'm going to try some polenta. I have eaten it before but never know how to

make it, seemed it was something hard to make and used yeast and all that.

Thanks to all of you I have really been the LEARNING LURKER.

I also enjoy cold food, give me a can and, an opener with a fork and that

will do when I'm desperate for fast food or broke.

Well done for not smoking, Brad. That's a great achievement.

These polenta recipes look good don't they? and fairly

starightforward to make. I shall be trying one of them out tomorrow.

Congratulations!!! I quit in 1993, so I know exactly what you're going through.

Sometimes it helps to " smoke " ballpoint pens for a while. Also, eat lots of

citrus. Good luck.

-Brad,

I for one am very proud of you. Congratualtions! Believe me I know how

difficult it is to stop. I quit over 20 years ago after a pathologist

showed me healthy lungs and smoker's lungs.

Great accomplishment. You will be so proud of yourself that you beaten

that addiction and your lungs will be good as new in no time.

Smiles and hugs
