What about trail mix, celery and PB and fruit. Nuts will keep you fuller for

longer periods of time

In Need of help

Friday, October 23, 2009, 12:49 PM

Hi,  My name is Carol

I am new to the group .

Thanks for having me.

I would like some ideas on healthy snacks.

I am a new viggie

I wanted something to carry with me that won't go bad

or need to stay cold.

My daughter has therpies on Saturdays and I need something

healthy to take along because it is from 11-2pm .

Which means Lunch time.

I am trying to stay away from fast food right now.

As I am making some life changes as far as my diet

is concerned and really don't want to tempt my self

be doing so.

I have looked around to see if there were maybe some

kind of salad bar type things close by.

Subway was the only thing I saw.  other than going to HEB.

Thanks      Carol

HELLO CAROL,

I HOPE ALL IS WELL.I'VE BEEN A VEGETARIAN FOR TWO YEARS AND I FIND THAT IF YOU

HAVE A REALLY GOOD BREAKFAST YOU CAN REALLY SNACK THROUGH LUNCHTIME.HOWEVER IF U

FEEL THE NEED TO TAKE SOMETHING ALONG TRY A NICE PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY

SANDWICH. IT DOES NOT SPOIL FAST OR NEEDS COOLING.TAKE A PIECE OF FRUIT ALONG

WITH YOU AND THAT SHOULD HOLD YOU UNTIL LUNCHTIME. I HOPE I HELP OUT A LITTLE

BIT
