Guest guest
I was just thinking when I saw this post by Rachel. Millet is probably the best grain or one of the best for stabilizing the blood sugar. I think you can use miso in any recipe where you might use soy sauce. You can probably just saute some veggies and put them over millet. I have a millet burger recipe somewhere but don't know where it is right now. GB Re: Brown rice with miso and millet recipes The brown rice with miso sounds really good. I have a tub of red miso in the fridge right now, so I'll have to try that. I also just got a great deal on some bulk millet. I've eaten millet several times, but have never made it so I'm gathering some recipe ideas for it. Would cooking it with miso work as well as the rice with miso? I'm not sure how the flavors will blend. Does anyone have any experiences or opinions on miso and millet or other recipes for millet? Guest guest
I would like your millet burger recipe when you locate it. I enjoy millet but I sure did wreck many a recipe trying to get it just right. It's very dried out if you don't get the the amount of liquid correct. It seems to really absorb a huge amount. I use a lot of quinoa. I like to roast the guinoa in an iron skillet before I cook it. Completely changes the taste, it takes on a nutty flavor. OK I have millet on my Whole Foods list and will get some this weekend. Donna Guru Khalsa <greatyoga wrote: I was just thinking when I saw this post by Rachel.
