Guest guest
For the last 20 years or so, I've been collecting songs about food, and I play them on my weekend marathon cooking sessions. Once mp3s were invented, my 90 minute mix tape became 40 hours of CDs!! One area that I am severely lacking, is children's music. I was reminded of this a couple of weeks ago on the Today Show, some blonde woman was singing a song about Freddy's Spaghetti, but I had to leave for work before the segment aired, and I didn't even catch her name. If anyone has suggestions about food songs, not limited to children's music, I'd love to hear them. You might be surprised to find how many songs there are about being vegetarian, mostly of the punk rock variety, but not exclusively. She was the highlight of my day when my baby was watching cartoons after school, lol. http://www.bizrate.com/buy/products__cat_id--5202,keyword--Laurie%20Berkner.html Robyn Schrager <bwayaslchef wrote: For the last 20 years or so, I've been collecting songs about food, and I play them on my weekend marathon cooking sessions. Guest guest
I just knew someone in this helpful community would know the answer. I am so relieved and grateful!! I just found a website called freekidsmusic.com, and there's a song called " Trying Vegetables " by Joshua Rich, which is pretty cute.
