Guest guest
But I do know this. The men are the first ones to try something different. They may say they like the meat pizza, but they are the first ones to try the different pizzas on the table. I noticed at work, when we had homemade Chili Day, my huge roaster full of vegetarian chili was the first one to empty. I know it had more ingredients than any of the others. I think that was the reason. It had such a good flavor. Joanie
Guest guest
I agree, the men at my job are more vocal about the food I bring in too, which is mostly cookies and sweet breads. The women eat them too and comment, but I think men may be bigger food fans because they might not worry about their weight like women do. They all think I've turned into Martha Stewart because since I joined this group I'm always bringing something in. About meat eaters eating vegetarian food, in the past if I was having a party and had pizza, I would order some meat pizza for the meat eaters and veggie or cheese pizza for the vegetarians. I thought it was funny that the meat eaters were always going for the veggie pizzas. Kind of irritating too because they were asked ahead of time what kind they liked and of course they said meat, then they were eating the veggie. Go figure. I no longer provide meat for any guests. Guest guest
I totally agree with you about the pizza. They eat all of the veggie pizza and then tell you if you want more, to just the meat pizza and eat that. You have the correct solution, order only veggie pizzas. Guest guest
There's so many different veggie pizza combinations, that you can really supply a huge diversification for all and tastes. At our house, whatever the pizza, after it's baked and just before serving, I cover the top with sliced fresh tomatoes. It goes great on all of them. I even have one pizza that I cover with shredded lettuce, grated cheese and diced tomato...all added as a garnish just before serving. Sometimes I add diced avocado too. Guest guest
There's a fast food place in Ohio that serves a sauerkraut pizza. I have their recipe somewhere around here. I'll look and see if I can locate it. Joanie
