Guest guest
Good evening, all! What a lovely Sunday here on the East Coast. Feels like spring has finally sprung! I have a question for ya'll - what are some good places online to shop for vegetarian food items, such as snacks, soy products, etc? Thanks in advance for your help! Guest guest
I've ordered from diamondorganics.com and have been Very satisfied with the quality. Not sure what the delivery would be to you. Check 'em out! Lynn in CA. On 4/2/06, cl.britton <cl.britton wrote: > > Good evening, all! > What a lovely Sunday here on the East Coast. Guest guest
Wow, thanks! That is the first site I've seen that delivers organic produce across the whole country rather than just in, say, California. Are the sampler packages a good deal? Looking at some of the other products for which I do have easy comparison points, they seem rather expensive. For example, the 10 oz bags of frozen berries from Cascadian Farms are listed at almost $7 each!! Guest guest
Diamond is a wonderful resource if you cannot get organic products where you live. They deliver high quality food quickly. But they are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive and their shipping is through the roof. Nowadays, most decent supermarkets have a small organic section - you will do better there, even taking into account a much smaller selection, unless you are independently wealthy and price is no object to you. For me, since Diamond charges three to four times my local price for organic produce, I'll just look at the pretty pictures and pray that CSA comes to coastal Georgia soon. Guest guest
yeah, I have found that stuff like that, I can buy in the store cheaper. the produce is the big plus for me. Unless I am around a decent natural grocer, I usually end up just not buying veggies. This way I have them sent, and so I HAVE to use them. else I get the guilt trip. I've just started ordering from them, and order most every Thursday, and get it on my front porch the next day. Pretty darn convenient. Lynn On 4/2/06, Erin <truepatriot wrote: > > Wow, thanks! On that note, I'd like to remind folks of this link: http://www.localharvest.org/ Not complete, but I think it's the closest anyone has...
