Guest guest
What are your favorite quick and easy vegan dinners? I need some inspiration. Jenn
Guest guest
Japanese veggie noodles (the kind you have to keep in the fridge cause they're fresh) some choice veggies (I use green pepper, red pepper, zucchini and yellow squash) a wok soy sauce (I use the reduced salt kind) onions or onion powder ginger (powder or fresh) garlic (powder or fresh) Throw the veggies into the wok with the soy sauce and above spices as desired. In separate pot, cook noodles. It'll take 30 seconds for them to be ready when you drop them into boiling water. Combine items. End result: totally vegan, and yum. Only thing I would've added is diced tofu. On 4/3/06, jennifer <nekrosys wrote: > > What are your favorite quick and easy vegan dinners? Guest guest
I think taking a flour tortilla and spaying it with cooking oil and placing in a hot skillet until it's crispy on both sides make a wonderful tostada, top with refried beans, Mexican rice, shredded greens and your favorite raw veggies. Guest guest
Last night I made a faaaahhhhbulous pasta primavera: sauteed sliced shallots & chopped garlic in a lot of extra virgin olive oil. I added plenty of salt, pepper, oregano & crushed red pepper. Then I added 1 bunch chopped asparagus stalks (saved the tops to add at the end) then added big chunks of orange & yellow peppers( 1 pepper each color). At the end I added a pint of pear tomatoes & the reserved asparagus tops. Tossed it all with cooked bowties & fed my family. It was beautiful. Additionally, everyone....I found out from 'In a Vegetarian Kitchen' that http://www.pickypalategifts.com/store/index.php?main_page=index is closing...hurry over for some great savings! Guest guest
Maria, I never shread lettuce. I " tear it " . into bite size pieces. Some people like to chop their cabbage into tiny pieces. I like to shread cabbage by cutting it in half, removing the core and then slicing very thin with a sharp knife.
