Guest guest
While this is not something one could use, it will not wilt - people go crazy over the candy bouquet. You know you have something unique when every nurse in the hospital stops you to look at it. This is really good if there are existing children - they get the candy and don't feel left out. http://www.candybouquet.com http://www.candybouquet3065.com/Images/Catalog/Stork.jpg http://www.candybouquet3065.com/Images/Catalog/Lucky%20Duck.jpg HI Everyone, can any of you suggest a good baby gift ?? basically, I'm thinking of something in the line of baby care items that anyone could use... When friends/family have babies, if they're local we like to give them a movie theater gift card and a " coupon " for babysitting so mom and dad can have a night out. Baby always gets so much, so we like to get something for the parents! --Stacee (mom to 4 kids who wishes someone had given me a night out, lol!) Guest guest
I think diapers would be extremely helpful. It is amazing how quickly a child can go through these. , Jenni < wrote: > > HI Everyone, > can any of you suggest a good baby gift ?? basically, I'm thinking of > something in the line of baby care items that anyone could use... > > links would be lovely! > > my sil just gave birth (c-section) to a 10 pound baby boy! my hubby > wanted to send something.. flowers or whatever, but I prefer to send > something useful to something that will simply wilt and die soon! > > thanks in advance! > > Jenni > www.little-tomato.com >
Guest guest
Jenni - a close friend of mine had a baby back in October... what I did was use the internet and find a personal chef back in MD and hired her to cook three meals for them, that they could put in the freezer for very busy days... they really seemed to appreciate the gift! Guest guest
HI Jenni: you can buy a diaper bag and fill it with things. Here are some suggestions, a package of cloth diapers, a couple of little one piece outfits a hooded towel some baby shampoo baby lotion baby powder A & D ointment or something similar wipes a baby bottle some pacifiers If you don't want to do the diaper bag you can do something decorative like a plastic wagon with the baby's name painted on it and filled with the same type of goodies. Guest guest
HI Jenni: I have one more thing to add... When my friends were having babies I used to make a veggie lasagna and bring it over so they had a dinner 1 night all they had to do was heat it up.
