Donna,

 

Do you really think it is the bran? The flour is pretty white. - maybe like a

cross between white flour and ww pastry flour. The bran looks like little

specks and not flakes like you buy in the store.

I'm sure it's the bran. Next time try covering them tightly with wrap.

Or place them in a container. I've had that same problem with bran

when I bake with it, too dry.

I personally vote for the flour, and wouldn't use it again if you

needed something to stay fresh.

You can also crumble and toast them, and use as a topping for yogurt, pudding,

ice cream, etc.
