Guest guest
Donna, Do you really think it is the bran? The flour is pretty white. - maybe like a cross between white flour and ww pastry flour. The bran looks like little specks and not flakes like you buy in the store. GB Re: Stale Muffins GB I'm sure it's the bran. Next time try covering them tightly with wrap. Or place them in a container. I've had that same problem with bran when I bake with it, too dry. Donna Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less. Guest guest
I personally vote for the flour, and wouldn't use it again if you needed something to stay fresh. , Guru Khalsa <greatyoga wrote: > > Donna, > > Do you really think it is the bran? Guest guest
You can also crumble and toast them, and use as a topping for yogurt, pudding, ice cream, etc. Amy <sandpiperhiker Wednesday, April 5, 2006 12:05:52 PM Re: Stale Muffins GB > If you still have those stale muffins kicking around, > may I suggest making a bread pudding with them?
