PS Nothing old or icky because Wednesdays are Donna's favorite day:

RTF (Raid The Fridge - night off for the chef) *lol*. Well,

Wednesday's the day in my house anyway, but I think hers varies! Each

week the leftovers get eaten up on Wednesday nights, and the fridge is

cleaned.

I hear you there. They might just barely get cool here. Brownies, glass of

milk and my remote and I would be in heaven

wow, ok, so this made me realize just how badly I needed to clean

out my vegetable drawer..

1. bag of really old green beans, slimy, may have originally been

organic...

2. half a head of organic collards

3. 1/4 pan of homemade chocolate chunk brownies

4. half a package of each: swiss, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese

5. 1 and a half tubs of tofu, extra firm, organic

6. 1 eggplant, not organic

7. 7 organic, free-range, local eggs (love those year-round farmer's

markets...)

8. 1/2 of a tvp/kidney bean " meat " loaf that is about a week old and

that i'm afraid to look at

9. 3/4 of a tub of fat free vanilla yogurt, not organic or local 9as

far as i know) or anything, just cheap

10. various condiments including tahini, red miso, mayo and a giant

bottle of ketchup

plus lots of other things...it really needs to be cleaned out.

Now these would never last in my fridge; they'd probably not even make

it to the fridge to begin with! :-)

The brownies would be long gone if I wasn't under strict orders

to make them last until Friday night. My partner just discovered

she can bake and she is very proud of her brownies. She made them

on Sunday, ate 1 Sunday night, then left for a business trip this

whole week, taking none with her and telling me to leave her some

for when she got back. Torture! If she's lucky, I'll leave one.

Then she'll just have to bake more.
