Guest guest
I'd like to thank you all for all of your suggestions to try to help us keep Niko. Today we had to make a sad, hard, decision. We had to take Niko to find a new home. Oz was to sick for words since last night, on so many meds just to breathe-to be sick, including prednisone. The side effects have him in such bad shape. I thank you all and we still may pursue some of your helpful ideas to help build a resistance to his immune system. (when i say allergic, it's beyond anything i've ever seen. his doctor told him if he was ever placed with a cat in a room for 3 days with no meds he could die!! Unbelievable, i know) so it's extremely serious. In anycase i spent the day hunting for a loving home for our Niko, and god blessed us into finding Donna from fairy tails. She luckily has given Niko a " foster " home until he can go to a permanent family. Fairy tails is an organization that Donna has started which includes no kill/ finding homes for dogs/cats. She is a wonderful person and I'm thankful I've had the opportunity to meet her. Sierra teared up my eyes saying bye to Niko, however we look forward to volunteering some time to help find the pets from fairy tails, homes, getting donations, etc. Sierra felt good about this and understood we could " visit " niko and his new friends this way as I don't think we will be able to have a full time pet in our home. I thank you all again and would like to share the fairy tails site as well as encourage you to take a look at her site - like i said she is amazing for doing what she does. here is the site - www.fairytailsadoptions.com God Bless Lisa Mail Bring photos to life! Guest guest
Lisa, My heart goes out to your and your family and especially Niko. It's so hard to let go of a family member no matter what the circumstance. You will be in my thoughts for a gentle transition in the time it takes to move through all the drama. I did want to tell you that when I tried to go to the link, I found a site that is not at all the group you described. Can you help. Also where is the group located that might help. City, State? Peace, Laura in MD

Guest guest
Lisa, With ragard to Oz's allergies, I suggest that you move toward a whole foods way of eating. Commonly referred to as Macrobiotic, this removes all refined and processed foods from the menu. Whole foods are more than vegetarian. I continued eating refined and processed foods after I quit eating meat. But since I stopped eating refined and processed sugars, other refined foods, and dairy, I feel much better. I believe that marcobiotics will heal Oz's allergies. The best way to begin would be to see a marcobiotic counselor. This person would be able to taylor a meal plan centered around the allergies. Here are some links for you. http://www.macrobiotics.nl/library/allergies1.html http://www.kushiinstitute.org/ Gary Oliver --- lisa castillo <lisarcastillo wrote: I'd like to thank you all for all of your suggestions to try to help us keep Niko.
