Guest guest
;-) What a great site! I started looking at around Feb. and found so much information and recipes for kids! I'm Deven, homeschooling mommy of Nicolai (almost 5) Juliana (2 1/2) and Gabriella (due in May-6.5 wks to go) We are in the changing over process in our house. We've discussed going vegetarian ( & organic) off and on since my dh, Nick and I married 6 years ago. But, it's become serious since reading the news article about mad cow found in Alabama (our state). My only concern is wanting to make sure my children are healthy and eating what they need. Any advice? What books to read? Cook books to buy? Thanks! Deven
Guest guest
Deven- Welcome! I am also a newbie here. I joined the beginning of this month when I found a link to vrg from vegsource.com I have found that Vegetarian Times compliation cookbooks to be a big help and even with this title, Vegetarianism for Dummies, it contains good info. My family isn't veg with me yet; but are slowly being converted. My DH has seem my health and fitnes improve as I live this lifestyle and is interested on getting onboard full-time. Yeah! No more dual dinners! Try The Vegetarian Lunchbox for lunches with hsing. I also hs and have found some recipes that both I and dd enjoy together. I find that when I involve my almost 8yo dd in food prep she enjoys her meals more. Even if it is something she has never had before. Again, welcome and I look forward to reading others responses. I am always on the lookout for more cookbooks and recipes! Vikki in Hawaii Home is where the Air Force sends us(Summer 2006-Washington, DC). , " Deven Vasko " <devenvasko wrote: > > ;-) What a great site!
