Guest guest Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 Our kids take Kangavites or Animal Parade. Both are kids/vegan/multi- vitamins. I like both these brands because they are made so that a full dose for a 2-4 year old is one vitamin a day and a full dose for a 4+ year old is two vitamins a day. Both are fairly tasty and the animal parades come in fun animal shapes. Guest guest Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 We used Animal Parade too, until Whole Foods stopped carrying it and it was almost twice as expensive in our local HFS. Yummi (Hero International) makes a Bears & Friends chewable that is very similar to the Animal Parade vitamins and is available from Whole Foods. Going back to a previous discussion, I just realized this morning that Odwalla's child-friendly Berries GoMega " nourishing food bar " (aka energy bar) has 500mg of vegetarian omega-3's. And kids will eat them! I haven't had much luck with flaxseed oil, so I'm one of the parents who hides ground flax wherever I can. I like Animal Parade better - they tasted better to me.. yep I eat them too. Renee Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1 & cent;/min.
