Guest guest
Sounds yummy, but I don't think that Pillsbury Crescent Rolls are vegetarian. I believe that they have beef fat in them. You could always just make it on a regular piza crust though. , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > This is always a hit at gatherings. > > Artichoke Pizza. > > 2 - 8 oz. cans refrigerated Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls > 3/4 c. shredded Mozzarella Cheese > 3/4 c. Guest guest
Pillsbury Crescent Rolls do NOT have beef fat in them. They are vegetarian. Maybe a long time ago they did, but not for several years. Check out a can next time you are in the store. Here are some more recipes using this product from their website. http://www.pillsbury.com/View/breads/crescent_dinnerolls.aspx Judy - smartgirl27us Monday, June 19, 2006 12:12 PM Re: Corrected Artichoke Pizza Recipe Sounds yummy, but I don't think that Pillsbury Crescent Rolls are vegetarian. Guest guest
No they are vegan. Not all of the pillsbury products are okay, but that one is at this point in time at least. > > > On Behalf Of smartgirl27us > Monday, June 19, 2006 1:12 PM > > Re: Corrected Artichoke Pizza Recipe > > Sounds yummy, but I don't think that Pillsbury Crescent Rolls > are vegetarian. Guest guest
They must have just changed the recipe within the past year because last year I was making crescent rolls wrapped around veggie dogs and checked their label and it still had beef fat and so I had to buy an alternate brand that just said " natural flavoring " which of course still could have been non-vegetarian, but it was zero cholesterol so I took a chance with it. I will have to check them out again next time I go to the store because they are so yummy and I'm glad if they are vegan now! , " wwjd " <jtwigg wrote: > > Pillsbury Crescent Rolls do NOT have beef fat in them.
