Guest guest
We use the ALacer Emergen-C for kids. We had an issue with an earlier vitamin that had WAY too much iron for all that we get in our diet. My daughter's teeth discolored from the overdose....but returned to normal when we discontinued it. This one is iron-free, and my 4-year old loves her strawberry flavored " vitamin drink. " Our local food cooperative puts the box on sale every couple of months and we buy a bunch. , earthmother <earthmother213 wrote: > > i'm trying to find a kids' multivitamin that is vegan. i see plenty of > kids' multis at the HFS that say they are vegetarian, but none that say they > are vegan. does anyone know of one, and one that isn't TOO pricey? my son > is 18 months old and in general i am opposed to supplementation...i think we > should get our nutrient needs from food and only supplement when necessary, > i.e., not every day. but i figure with kids you can't be too careful, and > since i've been pregnant i've been having a hard time eating (read: cooking) > myself so i worry that he's not getting enough good stuff. so, is there a > truly vegan multi? > > chandelle' > > -- > " When I attended home births I carried no pain medications; I told the women > they would have to go to the hospital if they needed such....
