I fed my son a lot of quinoa mixed with various other foods (fruits,

veggies). It has a lot of protein and is pretty bland, so it mixes well.

and joined this forum mainly b/c I'm looking for veggie ideas for my

daughter. I am slowly trying to get my dh and I off meat but have

really tried to keep my dd on a veggie diet. She's still

breastfeeding too. I am slowly learning about healthy alternatives

for her, and she goes to a veggie home daycare. So I'm interested in

hearing what everyone has to say with this thread and looking forward

to learning more.

Thanks for the hint. I'll look next week when I do the groceries. We're trying

a lentil casserole tomorrow night. Hopefully she likes it!

Carol,

I have not found any vegan corn dogs yet. I looked all over the Natural Food

Expo this year as well.

My husband was cajoled by my son to make some from scratch. They were a hit.

We used smart dogs.

I would be happy finding a non-GMO veggie corn dog. While Morningstar claims to

use non-GMO soy, their corn is. The Trader Joes corndogs are yummy, but I have

not been able to get info on the origins.
