Guest guest
My husband has been the lucky recipient of an early birthday gift from me: a trip to Seattle sans children to visit a buddy for 4 days. He may spend one day in Vancouver too. Do any of you from Seattle have any recommendation of can't miss vegetarian restaurants/stores/areas of interest. He's vegan, so places like Mighty O' Donuts are especially appealing! Thanks for any tips!

Guest guest
The Teapot. It's the best vegan chinese restaurant I think I've ever been too. The mango cheese cake is awesome. , " leena " <leena wrote: > > My husband has been the lucky recipient of an early birthday gift from me: a > trip to Seattle sans children to visit a buddy for 4 days. Guest guest
Hi Merette, Welcome to Seattle! It's a GREAT city for vegetarians/vegans. My husband and I have a 2 year old son and all of us are vegan. Here's a few web sites to check out:http://www.vegseattle.com/ http://www.seattlevegan.com/ A couple groups that you might want to check out are: Seattle Vegan Meet Up (search at meetup.com) Seattle Veggie Families (a - search for seattleveggiefamilies) Vegetarians of WA (www.vegofwa.org ) Both welcome the veg-curious, although potlucks tend to be vegan. Our favorite restaurants include Araya's, Cafe Flora, Vegan Garden, and Carmelita for special occasions. I can't help you on the doctor front, although if you join the Seattle Veggie Families group, I know someone there can help. Please email me offline so we can get introduced when you get out here! Cheers, Tanya tanyaaggar : bluebeetle_1: Tue, 23 Oct 2007 02:26:23 +0000 Seattle Hi everyone, I'm hoping to gather some suggestions. We will be moving to Seattle from NY in a couple of weeks, and don't know a single person out there. We've heard so many great things about that area being extra vegetarian-friendly, so we are really excited. Does anyone know of any good vegetarian groups/restaurants in that area? Also, we are starting to search for a pediatrician for our 8 month old son...can anyone recommend a doctor that is more informative than insistant with regard to alternative lifestyles (vegan/vegetarian, not so into vaccines/antibiotics, etc.) Any info would be MUCH appreciated!! Guest guest
I'm on Long Island too, and I don't know of any groups (part of the reason we are so excited about heading to Seattle!). The only thing I can suggest is the restaurant Tula Kitchen in Bayshore. While they're not 100% vegetarian, it's the most veg friendly place I've been able to find around here. Good luck in your search! ~Merette , Ksra May <karamay2 wrote: > > Hey, > My son and i live in NY on long island, are there ant veg groups you know of around here?
