Guest guest Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 I am hoping that someone can help.My landlord told me that I have to get rid of most of my cats.I do not want to drop them off at the shelter os humain society.I would like to make sure that they all go to good homes.I have six cats/kittens that need someone to love them.I can send photos to anyone who is interested.Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.Thank you. You can search on Petfinder.org to find organizations near you and then read their web sites to determine if they are 100% no-kill. By contacting them now (even though you may still be looking for good homes yourself), you will give them time to find room for the cats so you won't be left having to utilize a dangerous option such as a kill shelter later on if you still need homes for the cats. I volunteet in animal rescue myself so please feel free to ask me any questions you might have. If you are in Massachusetts, I can post a request for help for you on a board of animal rescue volunteers as well. Just let me know if you want me to do that for you and I will. Also, if any of your cats (if you are keeping any) are not spayed or neutered, I would be happy to provide you with information on free and low-cost programs offered in your area so that you don't run into this issue again (not to mention to prevent the females from going into heat in your home or the males from spraying your home).
