Guest guest
Has anyone tried the recipe on their website? It looks easy enough although it doesn't appear to make much. I want to make large rabbit heads (using a cookie cutter) for Easter to ice and add facial features. (I have seen these in print and in various coffee shops - cute!) Any tips? Guest guest
Is it still vegan if it is shaped like a bunny? Just kidding. ~P Renee Carroll wrote: > > > Do have the recipes? Guest guest
Renee, The recipe is on the manufacturer's website along with smores and marshmallowy fudge: http://www.suzannes-specialties.com/recipes/ I plan to use a deep cookie cutter to cut out the shape and then ice like these beautiful cookies: http://www.johnandkristie.com/archives/2005/10/perfect_sugar_c.html We used this icing recipe and technique for our Valentine cookies and it was great! Messy with a 3 year old but a great time and wonderful results. Then I planned to pipe features on top after it dried. However, now I think I will skip the icing due to time and so much sugar. We ordered vegan chocolate bunnies and jelly beans for her basket - I am on sugar overload thinking about it! I plan to just pipe the features on and maybe outline the " cookie " . Also, I am going to use the koala cocoa crisps like Lisa so I may skip the chocolate chips (I don't remember using chips as a child anyway). Simple, but beautifully explained and photographed. Liz
