Guest guest
any ideas that don't involve pesticides? i'm all for prevention but the way our kitchen is set up, in a lot of ways it's impossible to prevent...we can't move our refrigerator at all so lots of food, crumbs, etc. fall on eihter side of it and we can't do anything but try to grab it with a broom. i cleaned the floor with vinegar because that's supposed to ruin their scent trail but if anything there are more...and not just in the kitchen anymore, either. -- " Play is the highest form of research. Guest guest
Chandelle: I use cloves(spices). You can put bunches of 2 or 3 on their path. It will solve the problem just for a while. I hope it helps. Guest guest
OMG, thank you. i asked my natural parenting group and all i got were suggestions for pouring boiling water on them and making them walk in some ground-up fossils so they'd get eaten from the inside and then take it back to the queen and destroy the whole colony. i felt kind of silly saying, um, do you have any advice that won't kill them or hurt them in any way?! i just want them to go away! so thanks.
