Guest guest
Hi folks, I have two very separate questions for you today. 1) Does anyone know of a non-leather sandle that is made so that the insoles can be replaced by custom orthotics (like Naots, but vegan!). 2) Does anyone know of gluten-free veggie burgers or veggie dogs? My sister and her husband recently decided to go veg, but now bbq season is starting and they want burgers and dogs! My brother-in-law has Celiac disease (total gluten intolerance, to even a trace). They are not cooks, so they're not likely to mix up their own burger patties. Thanks, Heather

Guest guest
Amy's Kitchen Products have these gluten free products and meals. http://www.amys.com/products/search_results.php?form_noglutenadded=1 They have over 67 gluten free products, so make sure you keep hitting next to look at all of their products. We have tried some of their products and really like them. Here is more info about the Celiac disease on her site. Well worth reading. http://www.amys.com/special_diets/celiac.php Judy - " Heather Hossfeld " <hlh4850 Sunday, April 29, 2007 6:35 PM Questions: shoes & analogs > Hi folks, I have two very separate questions for you today. > > 1) Does anyone know of a non-leather sandle that is made so that the > insoles can be replaced by custom orthotics (like Naots, but vegan!). > > 2) Does anyone know of gluten-free veggie burgers or veggie dogs? Guest guest
Sol Cuisine veggie burgers (they have 3 kinds) are wheat/gluten free. I've had the original ones, and they're delicious. They have T-ribz (barbecue tofu " ribz " - amazing!!), falafels, ground soy, organic tofu, etc. All appear to be wheat/gluten free except for the veggie dogs. Their website is solcuisine.com. They're Canadian, so they're not available everywhere in the States yet. Liz
Guest guest
Perfect, because I'm Canadian! I will check their site to see where I can get them. Thanks! Guest guest
Great! You should be able to find them then. I'm in Ontario, and I saw some of their products (burgers in the freezer, tofu in the fridge) in the health food section of the Superstore today. My local health food store (Nature's Emporium in Newmarket) sells almost all of their products. Good luck! Of the veggie burgers, I've only tasted the orginal flavour, not the garden or black bean, but they all look good. You HAVE to try the T-Ribz though, they're amazing.
