Guest guest
Okay - talk about sad and twisted - this e-mail went out to my company from someone who works there. Bad enough people hunt, but to make a game out of it??!!!!! I always hate this time of year, when half the schools in the state have the day off for the start of buck season. *************************************** For those who are interested, XXXXX and I will be organizing the big buck pool this year. XXXXX will be collecting the $10.00 fee (first floor office). Please have your money in prior to September 29th, the first day of buck archery season. Only PA legally taken/legally tagged deer are eligible. We will use gross scores with no deductions, as we have in the past. Archers get an extra 15% added onto the score. Details of the annual rack measuring party will follow near the end of the season. Any conflicts will be handled by the self-appointed Buck Board. Guest guest
Ugh... that's really sick. If they were going out shooting dogs with arrows there would be an uproar. I hope all their arrows get broken and it snows and they get flat tires!! smartgirl27us <thesmartfamily3 wrote: Okay - talk about sad and twisted - this e-mail went out to my company from someone who works there. Guest guest
I guess depending where you work--it could be a HR item. One time this gal asked me if I had had a pig roast over the weekend (regarding my pigs--it was one of several comments that she had made). I told her that if she made another comment to me like that, then I would go to HR. Never had a problem after that. It wasn't a huge issue but she was doing it to be rude. She was the type of person that if someone had asked her to stop discussing the personal life of she and her girlfriend--she would have gone straight to HR. SO we veggies have rights too. We are plagued with the images of dead animal bodies on TV--why have to put up with crap in the workplace too. Laura Kadee M <abbey_road3012 wrote: Ugh... that's really sick. Guest guest
I hate this time of year. Luckily, at my new job there's only a handful of us and I don't believe anyone here hunts. At every other job though, that's all I would hear about for the 3 months or whatever it is that it lasts. My husband is hearing it non-stop now at his job and he hates it too. I understand they have their " right " to discuss this stuff, but you'd think they'd be considerate enough not to discuss it in front of a veg. I would think the email sent around should have only gone to those that would OBVIOUSLY participate. Some people are just ignorant!! Guest guest
You should post a parody of this hunting thing...turn it around to mean hunting for a good man, the right shoes, a decent boss, whatever. It could make your point but not be nasty or preachy about it.
