Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

-------- ------------ --------------------------------

1/2 cup nonfat or lowfat plain yogurt

1 small garlic clove -- pressed

1 teaspoon fresh lime or lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon grated red onions

pinch ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro or mint (opt) -- double to taste

salt

Whisk together all of the ingredients and set aside for 15 to 20 minutes to

develop depth.

TIP - Freshly ground cumin sees are more intensely flavored than pre-ground, so

use cumin to taste. Toast the seeds then grind them for a sweeter cumin flavor.
