Guest guest
I'm going to be sending a few recipes that appeared in our local Jewish newspaper. I haven't tried any of them yet. The names of the cookbooks they came from were given, but the authors were not. I managed to find one author's name via my county library website. I think the at least some of the other books are compilations that were put together by congregations and other groups, with recipes submitted by various people. One book was produced by the Auxiliary of the local Jewish nursing home and unfortunately the title of the book is " Beyond Chicken Soup. " Sorry. Just mentally substitute a different title if necessary :-) I'll post some other recipes from other books as soon as I get a chance to format them. * Exported from MasterCook * Plum Kugel Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 6 ounces wide noodles 3 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 8 or 10 Santa Rosa plums -- quartered and pitted 1/2 cup chopped nuts -- for optional topping 2 tablespoons melted margarine -- for optional topping Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
