Guest guest Posted December 14, 2001 Report Share Posted December 14, 2001 I *think* this is the same, or very similar to, the prior recipe sent- * Exported from MasterCook * Lasagna with Broccoli Bechamel Sauce Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 onion -- peeled and minced 1 clove garlic -- peeled and minced 1 Tb oil 2 cups finely chopped broccoli -- lightly steamed and well drained 2 cups soymilk 4 tsps cornstarch Salt to taste 2 cups spaghetti sauce (as needed) -- (2 to 3) Lasagna sheets (no-bake type or cooked regular type) Mozzarella cheese (soy or dairy) In a large saucepan, saute` onion and garlic in oil until golden. Mix soymilk with cornstarch, and add to pan. Cook over medium heat , stirring constantly, until thick. Add chopped broccoli, and mix well. Add salt to taste. Put a layer of spaghetti sauce in a greased lasagna pan. Put a layer of lasagna noodles. Put a layer of spaghetti sauce. Put a layer of broccoli mixture. Repeat layers, topping with sliced mozzarella. (Actually, make the layers however you want to.) Cover pan with foil. Bake in a moderate oven (350 F) for about 30 minutes, or until heated through. Remove foil, and bake 5 minutes more to brown.
