Guest guest Posted January 15, 2002 Report Share Posted January 15, 2002 sorry, I sent the wontons 2X by accident * Exported from MasterCook * Shiitake Stroganoff Recipe By :Jennifer Snyder Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/2 cups non-fat yogurt 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil 2 medium onions -- thinly sliced 4 cloves garlic -- minced or pressed 1 1/2 pounds fresh shiitake -- (4 cups) stems removed, sliced 1/3 cup dry sherry or apple cider vinegar -- not cooking sherry salt and freshly ground black pepper -- to taste paprika In a small bowl, mix the yogurt and mustard, and set aside. In a large saute pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook 5 minutes until softened. Reduce heat to low and add garlic and mushrooms. Cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add sherry or apple cider vinegar, and cook 10-15 minutes, until mushrooms are tender. Remove from heat and stir in yogurt. Season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with paprika.
