Chocolate Peanut Butter Frosting

 

Recipe By :Moosewood Restaurant New Classics, The Moosewood Collective

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1/4 cup peanut butter

3 tablespoons water -- (to 4 tbsp)

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup confectioner's sugar

 

In a double boiler or small heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate on medium heat.

While it melts, beat together the peanut butter, water, and vanilla until

smooth. Beat in the confectioner's sugar and add the melted chocolate, mixing

until blended. Spread the frosting on the cooled cake.

Hi all

 

I saved this when it was sent out- and now a few people were asking for

vegan cake recipes.. I'll send the cake one that goes with this too...
