Guest guest Posted February 1, 2002 Report Share Posted February 1, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Miso Macaroni Recipe By :Chef Morty Star Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 10 ounces whole wheat macaroni 1 onion -- diced 1 garlic clove -- diced 1/2 cup broccoli -- chopped 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 3/4 cup vegetable stock 1/16 cup miso 1 teaspoon tamari soy sauce 1 teaspoon oregano 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast 1/2 cup soy margarine Cook whole wheat macaroni as directed on package instructions. Saute onion, garlic and broccoli in vegetable oil until vegetables are tender. Let vegetables cool. Add vegetable stock, miso and spices in saucepan Stir over low heat until hot. When miso mixture has cooled, add this mixture to the blender along with the sauteed vegetable and blend until smooth. Pour over macaroni.
