Guest guest Posted February 15, 2002 Report Share Posted February 15, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Quick Tofu Marinade Recipe By :Karen Hubert Allison Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/4 cup shoyu 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar 1/2 cup sherry or white wine 3 cloves garlic -- minced 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil 1/2 pound raw tofu In a small saucepan, combine the shoyu, honey, sherry. garlic, and sesame oil. Place over moderate heat and stir until honey is diluted. Slice the tofu into 1/4-inch slices and place in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tofu. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
