No not give up on TVP. There is a catalog out there that offers all kinds of

TVP products. They are GREAT. They have Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, sausage, bacon,

ham, pepperoni and other products all of these taste as close to the real thing

as you I have found.

 

If you want the name let me know. I will get the phone number or web address.

I'd be interested in the info as well! We use Boca soy crumbles for

things like sloppy joes & tacos. It soaks up the flavor nicely and

adds some nice texture. I wasn't aware that Green Giant produced

something similar.
