Guest guest
I just bought a box of Kashi Organic Promise Autumn Wheat. I thought I could munch on these little organic whole wheat biscuits when I am wanting something crunchy and a little sweet. The only ingredients are organic whole wheat, evaporated cane juice, and natural flavor. I cup has 190 cals, 1g fat, 45g carb, 6g fiber, 5g protein. That's a WHOLE lot healthier for me than chips or (gasp!) peanut M & Ms, which not only are not vegan, are very unhealthy for me. They are very good. Just thought I would pass this along in case anyone is looking for a healthier snack alternative. Or a good breakfast cereal, for that matter! Guest guest
Mmmm... I too enjoy this cereal. And they have a Cinnamon flavored one as well. I find they go soggy VERY quickly in milk, however. -Erin , taylor <whimsytaylor wrote: > > I just bought a box of Kashi Organic Promise Autumn Wheat. Guest guest
Have you tried their Go Lean Crunch? Now that's one cereal that won't go soggy in milk! Delicious too and high in protein. -Erin , " Erin " <truepatriot wrote: > > Mmmm... I too enjoy this cereal. And they have a Cinnamon flavored > one as well. Hey, Erin, who needs milk???? ;-) I bought them as an alternative to chips and peanut M & Ms. And I would love to try the Cinnamon ones, but the store I bought this box at only had this flavor. Hope everyone is doing well this evening. I'm having a hard time keeping up with most of the wonderful chit chat. I'd love to be that chatty, but my pain and fatigue are really biting my butt this week. WhimsyT The biggest difference between plants and animals is that plants do not have a brain, a nervous system, or pain receptors, while animals have the capacity to feel pain, emotions, fear, and terror at being slaughtered. So why do we call some animals " pets " and other animals " dinner " ? " Humans are the leading cause of death in animals because we unnecessarily slaughter them for food. At the same time, animals are the leading cause of death among humans, because we eat them in great excess... " Terry Shintani, M.D., J.D., M.P.H.
