Guest guest
Hi Rae, What are avocado rolls? I'm just getting into avocados, hated them as a child, but have made some cold sauces in the blender with them which have been very tasty. Guest guest
> What are avocado rolls? I wondered too ;-) And I came across this little item: http://www.topics-mag.com/edition22/food-issues/emiko.htm Seems avocadoes are often paired with shr*mp etc. in rolls, Japanese style, in America (though not in Japan). There should be veggie versions of suitable recipes on the net. I have also seen references to avocado spring rolls (usually also combined with ch*cken or shr*mp). I figure any way you can design to eat avocado in a vegetarian recipe is a great idea! Best, Pat
Guest guest
Just a comment. One avocado a day is great, it has great oils. Perhaps 1/2 a large one daily is more reasonable if you are trying to lose weight. While incredibly healthy in limited quantities, they do have a lot of calories, so enjoy in moderation. >

Guest guest
Whenever I've had avocado rolls, it's basically avocado, sesame seed, and rice wrapped in seaweed. It's one of my favorite things to eat. I can never get enough avocado... it's almost as addictive as chocolate to me. , " veggiehound " <veggiehound wrote: > > > > What are avocado rolls? > > I wondered too ;-) And I came across this little item: > > http://www.topics-mag.com/edition22/food-issues/emiko.htm > > Seems avocadoes are often paired with shr*mp etc. in rolls, Japanese style, in America > (though not in Japan). Guest guest
Hey Shell. Sorry for responding so late. I responded to someone else's post telling them what I usually come across when I order them -- avocado and sesame seed with rice wrapped in seaweed. It's really good. Have you posted the recipe for these sauces here? , " Shell " <shell wrote: > > Hi Rae, > What are avocado rolls?
