Guest guest
How do you all keep your carrots fresh? We have the hardest time keeping fresh carrots fresh. We bought a nice bunch last weekend and when I went to use them on Tuesday, they were already limp/soft. Looking for suggestions here. Thanks! They keep pretty well that way for me, but mine don't usually have the greens attached (not sure how " fresh " you are starting from). Guest guest
Yes, the ones we bought have the greens attached; as did the ones we got when he had produced delivered. I'll try the airtight container. The April issue of Vegetarian Times had an article about which fruits & veggies to keep away from each other so we've made some adjustments there. Just so disappointing to go grab a carrot and have it wilted after only a couple days! We have baby carrots that we and our dog eat as snacks but those are kinda hard to grate when a recipe calls for it! Thanks!
