Guest guest
A simple staple around here is a veggie hotdog and baked bean dish: Saute some onions, add a large can of veggie baked beans, can of kidney beans, 2 t. mustard, 1 T apple cider vinegar, 1/2 c. brown sugar and one package cut up veggie hotdogs. Mix together. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Easy and always a hit with my son! Karen
Guest guest
I love to eat these two together. Recently I made a quick lunch for my kids with a can of chopped tomatoes, can of tomatoe paste, 1 tsp of chili and 3 crushed garlic cloves. It was tasty. Does anyone have any SIMPLE ideas on the same topic?

Guest guest
One of our favorite suppers is Brown rice topped with peppers and onions sauted with garlic pepper and cumin, topped with beans. Since I cook all of these from scratch I can keep the amount of salt to a minimum and the cost is very low. I get peppers and onions 3 for $1 so for 2 people supper costs about $2! And it is healthy and nutritious. Jane Wall - " bryans30 " <bryans30 Wednesday, June 21, 2006 12:18 PM Pasta and tomatoes >I love to eat these two together.
