Guest guest
We're into the cool morning fall weather pattern here in NW WA and so I'm enjoying my morning teas again. I have a tray/box that is my " special tea tray " . It carries 6 bags/boxes of tea and 6 salt shakers that I've filled with toppings. I have recently deleated one variety and now have a space open for another " favorite " herbal tea:) So I thought I might ask you all for your favorite herbal teas in hopes of discovering a gem to fill my slot. Here are my other 5 favorite teas: Celesial seasonings: Bananna/apple chamomile, Almond Sunset-Dessert tea, Candy Cane Lane-Pepermint, Vanilla Hazelnut-Dessert tea, English toffee dessert tea. Here are my favorite Toppings: Stevia Plus, Vanilla Powder, white Chocolate Powder, Coconut Cream Powder, Pero-Coffee Substitute, Carob Powder. As you can see I like sweet... I'm hoping to find a great vanilla herbal tea as the Vanilla Hazelnut one above is very mild. Thanks for your reply's in advace:) Ginger
Guest guest
There is an amazing little tea shop in Upper Queen Anne Seattle. They have delicious herbal teas. Check it out, I bet you'll find a few flavors you'll really enjoy. http://seattleteacup.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT & Store_Code=T On 8/23/06, kgtkkgtk <kgtk wrote: > > We're into the cool morning fall weather pattern here in NW WA and so > I'm enjoying my morning teas again. > > I have a tray/box that is my " special tea tray " . Guest guest
Hi Ginger: FYI, if you are serious about being gluten-free, some of those products need to come out of your " favourite " box. For example, Pero-Coffee Substitute is made from malted barley, chicory, and rye. The malted barley and rye are adding gluten to your diet. It's the same with the Almond Sunset-Dessert, Vanilla Hazelnut-Dessert and English toffee dessert teas. The good news is that the Candy Cane Lane Peppermint is gluten free. I wasn't able to find the Banana/apple Chamomile on the net to check it. Deborah Here are my other 5 favorite teas: Celesial seasonings: Bananna/apple chamomile, Almond Sunset-Dessert tea, Candy Cane Lane-Pepermint, Vanilla Hazelnut-Dessert tea, English toffee dessert tea. Guest guest
I have Celestial Seasons Honey Vanilla Chamomile, which is pretty sweet with just a touch of splenda or stevia. I also love Good Earth Original, which I actually can drink without any " topping " as you call it. Kind of spicy and sweet, which someone named Ginger should surely appreciate! I also really like Tazo Tea Lotus, but I'm having a hard time finding it now. , " kgtkkgtk " <kgtk wrote: > > We're into the cool morning fall weather pattern here in NW WA and so > I'm enjoying my morning teas again. > > I have a tray/box that is my " special tea tray " . Ginger, your morning tea tray sounds lovely and is filled with so many great tisanes and toppings! I have a new favorite (for this week; I keep changing all the time in my preferences!). It's Good Earth Brand and is called " Red Tea Sweet and Spicy " . It contains Rooibos, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Chamomile, Lemongrass, Peppermint, Orange Peel, Anise Seed, Ginger Root, and Natural Flavors. Their website it: www.goodearth.com . The tea is sweet and spicy both --- delicious! I'm sorry it's not a vanilla tea/tisane, though. Maybe someone else can help you out in that regard. Guest guest
I normally don't drink herbal tea. I drink decaf coffee but it looks like I may have to give up the decaf so I've been trying herbal teas. My fave so far is Nerada Organic Dandelion (has mint, cinnamon and ginger in it as well). I also don't mind the Nerada Organic Rosehip. There's also a Gingko tea but I can't remember the brand. I'm finding it a bit exy though having tea. Does anyone make their own blends? I like the flavor of Chocolate Mint but the mint gives me heartburn, I also like Amaretto. Teeccino is expensive to buy but we find that it costs the same as coffee because I use only 2 Tablespoons for a pot. Laura
