Guest guest
VEGETARIAN SLIMMING QUESTIONNAIRE Please tell us a little about yourself so we can know you a bit better: Hi Everyone! My name is Lauren I Live in Strongsville Ohio I'm 42 years old. I have been a kind of weird vegetarian for about 18 months. About 18 months ago I just got this horrible aversion to eating meat... Well most of it. I can eat a hamburger but not a steak or roast or anything else made from cow, I can eat Chicken nuggets but not a piece of chicken... I still eat sea food.... So I guess I am slowwwly.... moving to all vegetarian I have two sons and a husband that are raging carnivores.... I still cook all the traditional " man meals " but I cannot bring myself to eat any of it. I am looking for more interesting vegetable based dishes and sharing stories on changes others have made to their diets that improved their health, energy etc. As well as tips on how to stay away from the " junk " foods. Looking forward to sharing and contributing as I get to know everyone. Lauren

All people wanting to add low-cal vegetairan recipes into their diet are welcome in this group. Cindi, co-owner of group I don't want to be in a forum where people discuss the dead animals they eat. He was not discussing vegetarian meals, he was discussing how eating a hamburger was not a mammal. I don't think we want that here. If it is ok, fine, I'll leave. I've been a vegetarian since the 70s. I often say it's better to help a group of people reduce their meat consumption. Bob " Bob C. Guest guest
Thank Cindi. I have learned so much from this group and plan to stick around. Just because I said I can eat this or that doesn’t mean I eat them very often but if I'm out with someone I have options. I'm not locked into one way of eating. I just prefer to eat plant-based foods. Namaste, Zen Cindi <cindi93069 wrote: All people wanting to add low-cal vegetairan recipes into their diet are welcome in this group. Guest guest
Hi Bob ~ I have asked that meat not be discussed in the group except in passing (such as intros, if family is not veg etc) but not go in great detail of what they do eat. Guest guest
That is true Zen. However, please realize that some vegetarians prefer not to see posts about hamburgers, etc. in a vegetarian group. I want everyone to be sensitve to others, coming from both sides (completely veg and not). Thanks. Cindi zen white <zenbaby7 wrote: Thank Cindi. Guest guest
Zen, You’re the person that enters a clearly vegetarian group and isn’t asking about becoming a vegetarian or a path. You were talking about eating a ground up carcass of a factory farmed, animal. So you find it less offensive. I assure you, no one here sees a drop of difference. Vegetarian for about 30 years.
