Guest guest
Hi Tina and welcome to our group. I think that's wonderful that you're gong back to being a vegetarian. Was it your choice growing up or did your parents instill it in you? My friend's daughter is very strict about her vegetarianism. She's 6 now and my friend was vegetarian when she had her (but isn't any more) and it has stayed with her daughter. I hope my future children choose to continue being vegetarian once they get to the age where they have that choice. Again, welcome and make sure you check out our recipe files; we're bound to have some easy dishes in there! :-) Cindi Tina Hood <surmisez wrote: VEGETARIAN SLIMMING QUESTIONNAIRE Please tell us a little about yourself so we can know you a bit better: To get you started, why not tell us: * your name or nickname is Tina * where you live (continent, region or city, whatever) in Massachusetts * your age group - teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s or more (congratulations!)? will be 40 in March Also: * Are you are vegetarian (or vegan), still working at it, or still thinking about it? Guest guest
Hi Cindi, Thank you for the welcome. I've never stopped being mostly vegetarian. Over the years I've just incorporated one or two meat dishes into our diet per week or less -- usually less. Our goal is to try and become vegan. My mother is constantly preaching that dairy is really bad for us. Which I know, because anytime I eat a lot of it, my allergies and asthma are worse than normal. It was not our choice as children to become vegetarian. My mother chose that for us. She is convinced that eating meat causes cancer and a whole host of other diseases. Plus, it was cheaper to feed seven children a meatless diet. I hope to find some easy recipes, that require little to no preparation. I have a lot of recipes which I will share as time goes on -- all are in a binder and need to be typed into the computer. Thanks again for the welcome. , Cindi <cindi93069 wrote: > > Hi Tina and welcome to our group. I think that's wonderful that you're gong back to being a vegetarian. Guest guest
Hi Tina ~ I hope our kids (when we have them) stick with vegetarianism as they'll start life out that way. I hear ya on having lots of recipes that need to be uploaded to the computer! I'm the same way. Cindi " Tina M. Hood " <surmisez wrote: Hi Cindi, Thank you for the welcome.
