Guest guest
For probably the first time in years, I had something very unique happen to me over the holidays. I lost weight instead of gaining it. I'm a lacto ovo, though in my area it's hard to get vegitarian friendly meals, for some reason people don't realise that holding the meat means bacon too...go figure. None the less, I'm excited about the loss, and for the first time, I'm not worried about it coming back. I've not yet started an exercise program persay, as I'm doing physical therapy for back problems, and I'm working with my therapist on exercises. Guest guest
Hey congratulations Kim, that IS something to be excited about! It's tough maintaining weight let alone lose during the holidays with all the food pushers around every corner. Way to go... I hear ya about the lack of knowledge, or concern, on some people's parts about what vegetarians don't eat (um, hello...meat! we don't eat meat!). :-) Cindi Kim <lavender_starr_03 wrote: For probably the first time in years, I had something very unique happen to me over the holidays. Guest guest
Congratulations! I also had a small victory and when I weighed in on Jan 1 was down 1.4 pounds from last weigh in on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately I've been in a holding pattern since then, but I was amazed to lose a bit over the holidays, but I was pretty good, no egg nog at all which is a first for me. Even the light version still had plenty of fat and calories. , " Kim " <lavender_starr_03 wrote: > > For probably the first time in years, I had something very unique > happen to me over the holidays.
